SCHOONER HERON : New construction, 52' John Alden designed
schooner. Lofting complete, Lead keel poured, frames laminated, backbone
set up, framing complete, deadwood made,lead keel in place, bronze floors
being cast, deck beams being made, and lumber piles moved inside anticipating
planking soon...

Lumber arrives from Suriname by schooner...
...and is delivered to our shop.
Frames are laminated
using clamping jig and pneumatics.
The wood keel and stem pieces are made.
The lead keel is poured into the mould. 
The forward frames are
set up...
The aft frames are installed...
The patterns are made for the bronze floor castings and taken to
the foundry.
Bronze floors fastened and lead ballast keel attached.
Garboard and lower strakes on.
Planking begun.
Planked past turn of bilge, deck framing complete & ready to
lay teak deck.
Teak deck being laid.
Cabin-end panels made.
